When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves. ~Victor Frankl

I can hardly describe to you the week that is happening right under my fingertips. If I ever could testify of God's goodness and love, it is now. It is now when my heart hurts and I cry almost every hour. I have spent the past three days in Orlando, FL at Give Kids the World with some of the most amazing families on the planet. Meanwhile, my grandma who has practically raised me to be the young lady I am, has been growing weaker and weaker, and not speaking for days. I can't change this situation, but inside my family, God is working. Her days aren't numbered, rather her moments and breaths. After not speaking for two whole days (this past Saturday before I left for my trip), she woke up long enough to respond to me with an "I love you." Really? Is it even possible for that much goodness to exist in a moment so horribly sad? Yes. Not only that, but while at Give Kids the World, I met a family who prayed for my family and I and touched my heart beyond belief. Our family is shaken, and odd things are taking place in our lives right now. It is without a doubt a strange season, but it is in these times we learn so much. My time at Give Kids the World changed my life. I am so blessed to have had this opportunity. My comfort zone is just destroyed. I am far beyond staying in my bubble. And, I believe this is when God has room to step in and do mighty things in us. Below are some pics from the past few days. Btw, if you are unfamiliar with Give Kids the World, google it now! And check out the Henri guy who started it. Incredible testimony! Enjoy, my friends :)
