In every season...

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under Heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance.
-Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, 4
He is the Creator and sustainer of time. Nothing is "untimely" with Him.

My mama gave me the cutest letter with a pink bow around the middle with these verses on the inside before my dance recital tonight. My sweet grandma passed away this morning at 2 am, and reluctantly, I went ahead to my recital. I have never ever been more nervous in my life! But, clearly, the Bible teaches us "there is a time to mourn and a time to dance." Surely there will be rivers of tears shed during this time, but there is a time for that, and also a time to glorify God through dance. There is a season for both, and tonight ended up wonderful. Truly, God is even in control of timing and circumstances.

Below are a few pics from my solo in the recital, our silly costumes that are guaranteed to make you laugh, and a few pics with some of the most precious people I love so much!

Last Christmas with Grandma. Cherishing these wonderful memories. (That's my cutie pie nephew Lincoln in my lap).
